Welcome to the VYBS 2008 season. Vashon Youth Baseball & Softball (VYBS) is a remarkable reflection of the best in our island community. Our mission is to instill in our island youth life lessons of teamwork, individual achievement, a spirit of fair play, and a healthy sense of balance between competition and honorable cooperation.
Vashon Youth Baseball & Softball (VYBS) is a non-profit volunteer organization that is a member of the National PONY Baseball & Softball organization and has adopted the “Pony League” rules.
VYBS is also a Vashon Park District Program.

Reminder : Steve Hall Clinic is this weekend April 5th and 6th at the VHS Fields

Steve Hall 2-Day Baseball Intensive Clinic

VYBS offers an exceptional opportunity for any player age 9 and up to work with Vashon High School’s eminent baseball coach Steve Hall. This will be a fast-paced, action-packed, information-filled 2 day clinic for baseball-loving youth. Registration forms are available at the park district office or visit the Parks Website to print a PDF registration form. You must pre-register in person at the Park District office. Just bring in your completed form and payment.

Thank you everyone for trying out. We had a lot of talanted baseball players show up this year and the end decision for who made this team was a difficult one. We hope that the players who tryed out and did not make Pony will decide to perfect their skills in our Bronco program. Anyone who tryed out and is not listed please make sure that you register for Bronco by the end of the day on Monday March 17th so you can be placed on a baseball team. Anyone listed for making the Pony team please make sure that you are signed up for Pony Baseball. Pony players will be contacted in the next week or so with pratice times and dates. Thank you for your support.
Pony tryouts will be held March 11th 13th and 14th. For more details see our Pony league seaction Here.
Registrations Open and can be filled out at the parks website : Vashon Parks District. Please note that the late fees will be assest for all aplications turned in after March 7th.
